I am just a concerned citizen, kindly choose your participants not just by beauty, but consider also their brain and abilities as an individual.Be responsible enough in choosing those who really can help towards the well being of Sagada, specially the DAMN PEOPLE!
thanks for the comment pero singing contest po ang plano ng sagada segment at hindi singing contest. we did miss teen sagada in 2004 but we switched to a singing contest na ngayon.
...and since Miss Teen Sagada 2004 went by the tagline Smart women are beautiful, the intelligence of the candidates was as important as their beauty. The candidates underwent sufficient training on public speaking and conduct to further enhance their skills and build their confidence before the competition proper. The essay, talent and two sets of interviews comprised 40% of the rating of the candidates for the selection of the final three. The top three were then ranked based on intelligence (50%) and beauty, personality and bearing (50%) to come up with Miss Teen Sagada.
The contest was a means of balancing the fiesta activites. Not everybody is into sports or the quiz bee, but creating other venues for self-expression enables other Sagada teens to excel elsewhere. If only you were there, anonymous1, you would have seen that it was better than you thought it was.
Sagada Segment organized the folowwing: SMS Foundation Day Math Quiz Bee (December 2002) Mutya ng Santa Maria (February 2003) Essay and Speech Contest on Peace and Order (with the Municipal PNP -- March 2003) Sagada Fiesta Math Quiz Bee (February 2004) Miss Teen Sagada (February 2004) the Sagada Segment is also involved in Sagada youth sports development
i have to congratulate you for your efforts in doing things for the youth. i am also glad you changed the beauty contest to a singing contest. way to go!
